I'm building a resources section for writers and look forward to seeing it grow because it will give me, at least in part, a record of my ongoing professional education.
It might seem old-fashioned, but I am including print books because I read them and use them. Many, but not all, are available in digital editions, but I obtain most through my public library, either directly or through interlibrary loans. In fact, I rarely buy a book that I haven't already read for free.
I think the library is an important resource for writers and editors; we are all working to promote our work, but none of us can afford to buy all the tools available. Accessing the free ones simply makes sense. And, as I alluded to previously, it gives us learners access to information that is not available online, at least not for free.
I'm excited to be starting this journey.
